Teresa Scanlan Wins 2011 Miss America - MISS Nebraska Teresa Scanlan won the beauty contest Miss America 2011. He set aside 52 other candidates beauty queen when she was elected to the Las Vegas local time last weekend.
Scanlan, 17-year-old girl was the youngest participant since the organization of Miss America contest that began in 1921. He is entitled to a tiara and also scholarships worth U.S. $ 50 thousand.
He is an alumni of Scottsbluff High School and hopes to major in law in college and later aspired to become judges and politicians.
After Scanlan, as the runner-up won by Miss Arkansas Alyse Eady and third championship won by Miss Hawaii Jalee Fuselier.
This year the tradition of holding of the Miss America held at the Planet Hollywood resort has stepped on the year to 90.
